Small by design
I pride myself on overdelivering — doing bigger and better work than one person at a single desk has any right to. Being a studio of one means every project gets my full attention from the first strategy call to the final file handoff. Nothing is passed down a chain, nothing gets lost in translation, and nobody has to wonder who's actually doing the work. It's me. It's always me.
I am proudly human. From quote decks to moodboards to logos to taglines to mockups, my work comes from my brain, heart, eyes, and hands. Great design comes from deep understanding, the collision of perspectives, and the infinitely complex mess of human experience.
The backstory
Brewer started the way a lot of good things do: sideways. I cut my teeth doing production art at a local print shop, picked up every skill nobody else wanted — prepress, sign painting, the ancient website — and slowly realized the part I loved most was the moment a business figured out who it actually was. So I chased that moment full time.
After years of moonlighting on brand projects for friends, and friends of friends, and eventually total strangers who somehow had my number, I made it official. Brewer was born in the fall of 2021 — a one-person design shop with big-studio standards and a deep suspicion of anything that feels phoned in.
