A marketing system built around real expertise.
Over several years leading marketing for M&S Consulting, I helped turn deep technical knowledge into a steady, recognizable point of view. The work created more ways for people to find the company, and more reasons for its people to share what they know.
From a growing email audience to Human Coded, the brand’s podcast, each channel was designed to reinforce the others. Employee stories, smart social content, and a clearer web experience gave the company an engine it could keep building on.
01 / Human Coded
There was no content engine, so I built one.
When I got there, M&S had over 250 consultants holding decades of hard-won knowledge and almost no way for anyone outside the company to hear it. No content engine, no reason for employees to post. Publishing more blog posts was not going to fix that.
The shift was to stop thinking like a publisher and start thinking like a broadcaster. A show gives people a reason to show up on a schedule, and it gives a company something to talk about in far more contexts than a services page ever will.
Human Coded is that show. Technology conversations with the people at the center of them: M&S consultants, founders, and the leaders actually doing the work.
Listen to Human Coded
Most of the work happens before anyone hits record.
Sourcing guests, checking they had a real story and not just opinions, researching what they built, then writing interview guides detailed enough that a busy executive could switch into host mode and still carry the conversation the format needed. The recording is where that preparation pays off.
And the episode was never the end product.
Every conversation left behind customer language, examples, clips, and quotes that fed campaigns, social posts, sales calls, and the employee content people were actually willing to share. The show doubled as a research pipeline.
You can hear it in the arc. The early run explained AI to people who kept getting asked about it. Then it turned to change management, because that is where projects were stalling. From there the mic went to founders and customers telling their own stories. Twenty-three episodes in, the format still holds.
02 / Employee-powered content
Turned employee expertise into momentum.
The strongest stories were already inside the company. I helped create repeatable ways for employees to participate: spotlighting expert perspectives, supporting social sharing, and making it easy to contribute without asking people to become marketers overnight.
The result was a more active presence across employee accounts, more engagement on LinkedIn, and more paths back to M&S.

03 / Digital flagship
I designed and built the entire site myself.
Strategy, information architecture, design, copy, and the front-end build all came from me. It runs about 139 pages: 7 service lines, 6 practice areas, 19 case studies, 22 podcast episodes, and 69 posts, held together by one component system the team can extend without starting another redesign.
It is built for the AI age too. Schema markup tells answer engines who M&S is and what it does, the crawler rules let AI search in while keeping training scrapers out, and the AI practice area and roadmap sit up front because that is what clients ask about first.
